These are some of the books that are almost always found on my desk, open.
By clicking on any of these and buying them, you will be helping me out

This is one of the few books on the market that I've found as good as a hands on demo. For virtually every "normal" HTML element and or trick, they have a clearly described example, along with what it will look like in the browser. |
| This book, just like the HTML one above, gives many clear examples that make learning JavaScript tricks easy. I've actually used these two books to teach a class on web page design without the use of computers. |

This is a cool "coffee table" book on web site design. It is full of interesting web sites that have exploited interesting features of HTML/JavaScript/Java/DHTML/Flash/you name it. Although I would not be interested in trying to exactly replicate any of the sites in this book, it does give some visually stunning views of what is possible. |
| This is the first real decent Cascading Style Sheet book that I found. After about 8 months or so, it's still my favorite. It goes through many of the differences between Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4.0, and 5.0, and Netscape's Version 4.X browsers. A very clear table is also presented as to what is, and is not, supported. |

This is one of the few books on web site style that I actually like. |
